Lifeforce healing space

“Good health flows from inner calm, as does the ability to act wisely in the face of difficult or emotional situations”.

Here is a list of the current therapies Lifeforce is offering to its clients, with a brief description of their main health benefits:

Professional Swedish Massage

Swedish massage uses softer strokes on the muscles and more delicate parts of the body, and stronger strokes where there is thicker muscle coverage. This sensitivity to pressure makes it ideal for relaxation. During a swedish massage treatment I use organic almond oil to facilitate smooth, gliding strokes called effleurage to induce deep relaxation.

Besides the calming benefits, Swedish massage is thought to be good for:

  • easing muscular strain by flushing out toxins
  • improve your health and self awareness
  • improving circulation by increasing oxygen flow in the blood
  • increase the circulation of body fluids
  • helping to keep ligaments and tendons supple
  • improve the tone of your muscle tissue
  • stimulating the nervous system
  • reducing emotional and physical stress
  • induce deep relaxation
  • release tension and stress from your back and spine
  • release of other waste products

Other movements used include kneading, friction, tapping and gentle stretches. There is the full range from light to deep pressure work, depending on the tension levels held within the muscle.

Energetic Cellular Healing

This technique of healing is founded upon the Barbara Brennen School of Healing, my mentor was a teacher from her school until he created his own independant certified training in Scotland.

Harmonic induction is a grounded and pure healing intention which is utilized positively to heal the human energyfield and to enable the healer to channel a specific form of energy.

Here is a list of the main health benefits of energetic cellular healing:

  • Chakra re-balancing and healing/repairing chakras
  • Hara alignment
  • Core star healing
  • Spinal cleansing
  • Brain balancing
  • Healing characterological defenses

Spiritual Response Therapy

Spiritual Response Therapy, or “SRT” as it is more commonly known, is a profound system which clears the negative energies we have brought with us from past lives which can, and often do, impinge greatly on our current human expression. I use the breath of Spirit, whilst tapping off the body and over the relevant muscles, to bring about the correction… it offers a profound emotional detox for your Soul.

  • Improve your sense of wellbeing
  • Create freedom from negative energies
  • Create space for inner radiance and clarity to ones life purpose
  • Improve the balance and harmony within all relationships (partner/work/home)
  • Improve sense of personal direction, confidence and focus

The principles of SRT are based on the belief that we are spiritual beings living in a physical body through which we can learn particular lessons for the growth of our soul. Everything that we experience is valuable to us but the lessons to be learnt in our physical lives can often be traumatic and painful if we do not have a basic understanding of where we have come from and why we are here.

I use the breath of Spirit, whilst tapping off the body and over the relevant muscles, to bring about the correction… it offers a profound emotional detox for your Soul.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a subtle and profound healing form. The health benefits include:

  • Improve mental and emotional health
  • Resolve birthing issues

In a typical craniosacral session, you will usually lie (or sometimes sit) fully-clothed on a treatment couch. The therapist will make contact by placing their hands lightly on your body and tuning in.

The first thing you will probably notice is a sense of deep relaxation, which will generally last throughout the session. This release of tension often extends into everyday life.

Sometimes the benefits are not immediately noticeable but become obvious on returning to a familiar environment. The work is often deeply moving and exhilarating.

Origin of Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy developed from the work of an American osteopath, Dr William Sutherland in the early 1900s. He discovered intrinsic movements of the bones in the head and his further research revealed different rhythms in the body. He inferred, from further observation, and later went on to demonstrate to his satisfaction, that these movements are inextricably linked with mental and emotional health and that restriction of these movements corresponds to a reduction of the natural capacity to self-heal.

Craniosacral therapy has developed from clinical experience, which shows that health is something active and not just an absence of disease. Health is the expression of life, responsible for the organisation of the millions of things that are constantly happening in the body.

Earth energies / house clearing

Often there are situations within houses, which are beyond our control, that make it difficult for us to live in them peacefully. There are a variety of resons for this. Some believe that houses can retain a photo recording or image of other people that have lived in them in the past. This can sometimes cause upsetting disturbances to the present occupiers. A cleansing process (distant dowsing) will clear this and other earth energies (geopathic stress, electromagnetic stress etc.) from your home.

Geopathic stress is the earth’s natural radiation that becomes distorted by weak electromagnetic fields caused by underground water, mineral deposits, fault lines, quarrying, construction, earthquakes, weather patterns etc. Energy is invisible, but it is a feeling you get in some properties; either very welcoming and you enjoy being there, or sometimes you can’t wait to get out!

Lifeforce is also connected to a network of other therapists in the Findhorn area who are also available for consultations during clients retreats.
