After being certified with a Business and Finance Diploma in 1988, I moved to London and started work with Christie’s Fine Art Auctioneers. For two years every piece of art, antiquity, furniture and jewel you can imagine went through my hands! This is where my love of art and its unlimited potential really began.
Then in 1990 I joined W.H.Patterson Fine Art; a fine art gallery in Albermarle Street, London, where I specialised in 19th. Century Dutch and European Masters and we also exhibited contemporary works by the Royal Academy and the New English Art Club members. Inspired by the art that I saw, I began to paint and explore different creative mediums.
I had itchy feet to travel, and so I spent a couple of years overseas in Australia, New Zealand, America, S.E. Asia and Africa. I also started developing life skills and tapping into my healing abilities through deep study with different healers and completing workshops.
In 1994 I returned to London and completed a one year training in professional Swedish holistic massage.
I then moved to Ibiza, Spain in 1995, where I became self-employed and created my own healing business, Lifeforce and also became an active ‘green’ Director of the ecological community at La Casita Verde (The Green House), where I helped organize healing festivals and other educational green events. I also lived and frequently returned to Haidakhan in the Himalayas – a sacred temple on the river Ganges where I practised meditation, rebirthing and the yogic path, during the winter months.
By 2001 I was ready to move on, and so painted and travelled for a year in South America, where I also wrote my first spiritual novel whilst living/studying in a macrobiotic community called Figueira in the heart of Brazil.
I then returned to settle in Totnes, Devon with my wife Mohini. Here we had a beautiful home birth for our first son Eden, and when he was 2 years old we decided to move to Findhorn in Scotland, because we wanted to be a part of the spiritual community with healthy organic produce nearby and also to educate our children at a local Rudolf Steiner School. In 2007 Izaak was born and joined his brother at the same school.
After working in the Findhorn Foundation College as Operations Manager, I decided to return to the ‘creative process’ ; and so in 2008 I began painting full-time again and rented an arts studio at The Moray Arts Center. I then returned to my healing studies and completed the professional TECHS course in Energetic Cellular Healing; which is based on Barbara Ann Brennen School of Healing..
In 2009 we bought Lighthaven in the Findhorn village, which we have converted into a ‘greener’ eco-house and set up the Yurt as a sacred healing space for Lifeforce to be reborn.                                                                             In April 2012 I graduated with the Advanced Bodies of Light Healing Diploma.

We have a long standing commitment to supporting The Findhorn Foundation events and the community.

Now, I am connecting to new healing skills and modalities, to continue my journey into healership and a deeper connection to Higher Self on all levels.
